OMETEPE ISLAND

Ometepe Island is located in Cocibolca Lake (Nicaragua Lake). It has Concepcion and Maderas Volcanoes. One of them ii is active (Concepcion Volcano) and the another is a dormend one with a fresh and beautiful water lagoon on the top. Ometepe Island is one of  biggest fresh water island of the world and remains indigenous history. In this island it can be found statues and petrogliphies.

During yhe mornig you visit a fisher village Moyogalpa. Visit of  the interesting indigenous rites place on the way going to Santo Domingo Beach. Also visit Altagracia village and important Musium of archiology.

San Ramon WaterFall

It is taken two hour of ascent to get at San Ramon waterfall at Maderas volcano. The clear and clean natural water  of the waterfall lagoon persuade to a bath.

It takes nine hours to hike up and down throught a tropical forest. Howler monkeys and birds can be heard if not seen in the way up or down, up right there you can see the entire lake, island and Concepcion volcano. The water from the Maderas lagoon it can be swim.

The trip start from Altagracia. The hike takes five hours, much of it radically steep.the upper reach of the volcano is with lava and no vegetation. Up right there you can see the entire lake, island and Maderas volcano.
